Nut

Nut

Graffiti artist

About the artist

Born in Guangdong in 2000, Nut began working with graffiti in 2015. Traditional blue-and-white porcelain became a recurring visual language through which he explores cultural identity and contemporary street art.

In 2020 he established porcelain as the focus of his practice. Rather than working from physical objects or models, he imagines lifelike ceramic forms, considering the relationship between the virtual and the real.

His record lists street-art festivals including Yardworks, Visionart, Stenograffia, HKwalls and Wall Share, alongside exhibitions in Beijing, Suzhou and Shenzhen.
